History

Five and a half hectares of mature Pinot Noir was planted here between 1999 and 2004. This site is located on an elevated hillside on the eastern Omaka Valley and was purchased by Nautilus Estate in 2007 as a premium component for Nautilus Pinot Noir. This wine matured for 11 months before clarification and bottling.

Color

Dark ruby.

Bouquet

Aromas of raspberries, plums and toasted spice.

Palate

Medium bodied with good structure, typical of pinot noir with red fruits aromas.

Food suggestions

Ragout, poultry, beef tartare.

Cellering

8 to 12 years.
