Pinot Noir

History

Vines on the dry dusty hillsides of Sliding Hill produce beautifully ripe Pinot Noir grapes. The vibrantly coloured, small berried fruit is in stark contrast to the harsh surrounding landscape, but the resulting wines are strikingly intense with beautifully ripe, bold and delicate flavours. Maturation occurred in French oak barriques for approximately 10 months..

Color

Deep Ruby.

Bouquet

Lifted Aromas of dark cherry, plum and dark berry fruit perfumed with fragrant dried spice and floral notes.

Palate

Succulent and full bodied with concentrated berry fruit and plum flesh. The wine has a dense fruit richness to the palate, interwoven with savoury characters, dark chocolate and floral spice. It displays a lovely silky texture and fine grained tannin structure which adds complexity and length to the wine.
