Shiraz

History

South Australian Barossa valley is world renown for some of the best shiraz in Australia. The soil and the climate are the ideal ingredients for making shiraz.

Color

Dense and vibrant ruby red with warmth and beauty.

Bouquet

Ripe and spicy with toasted peppery hints on the nose. Two years in French and american oak barrels.

Palate

Fruity, plum and blackberry with a very well balanced oak support. This really enhances the shiraz fruit.

Food suggestions

Definitely a red meat wine, preferably with grilled beef or game food.
Roasted lamb would also be very suitable.

Cellaring

This wine will keep getting better and better. It is already great to drink but will keep for more than 10 years.
