Grenache

The Willows Vineyard

Barossa Valley, South Australia

Grenache

History

G7 stands for the 7th generation of the Scholz’s Family. In fact, this wine has been elaborated by Jack, Peter’s son.

Planted in 1969 by 5th generation Dr W.H `Bert` Scholz. This Grenache grows on sand over deep alluvial soil in a loop of the North Para River.

The cool gully breezes follows the North Para out of the hills and this is the reason why, the Willows wines are so specific.
