Mount Barker, Western Australia
The fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness and flavour profile from premium vineyards surrounding Mount Barker. The separate portions were aged for 18 months in a selection of new and older French barriques. A further 12 months ageing in bottle before release allowed this wine to be in perfect balance.
Deep inky red with a ruby hue.
Ripe dark fruits of plum, cherries and blackberry with undertones of dark chocolate and spice.
A rich and elegant palate displaying blackberry and hints of cassis. A complex wine with layers of classic French oak, elegant tannins, and persistent dark fruit finish.
